A multimedia school library for the “Villa Verrocchio” Institute

During the month of July, History Life Onlus funded an important project for the creation of a multimedia school library within the Istituto Comprensivo Statale “Villa Verrocchio” in Montesilvano.

The initiative was created with the aim of offering all students, and in particular the many foreign students and pupils with BES, a new space dedicated to learning and personal development.

📖 A space open beyond school hours

The project envisages a sort of “civic centre” open outside normal school hours and also during the summer period.

Within this space, students will be able to develop ideas, satisfy their curiosity, search for information and undertake independent learning paths.

📚 The support of Baldini&Castoldi and Marsilio Editori

From the earliest stages of the project, Baldini&Castoldi and Marsilio Editori showed great willingness to support the initiative.

The two publishing houses made themselves available to send some of their books in order to expand the collection that the school will make available to its students.

🎓 An inauguration planned for October

An official inauguration ceremony is also planned for the month of October.

A highly distinguished special guest, described as a great Italian writer, is expected to attend the ceremony. His name will be revealed only a few days before the event.

Let us therefore give these dreams to the children of today: the future of tomorrow.

Una biblioteca scolastica multimediale per l’Istituto “Villa Verrocchio”

Nel mese di luglio, History Life Onlus ha finanziato un importante progetto per la realizzazione di una biblioteca scolastica multimediale all'interno dell' Istituto Comprensivo Statale “Villa Verrocchio” di Montesilvano.

L'iniziativa nasce dalla volontà di offrire a tutti gli studenti, e in particolare ai numerosi alunni stranieri e con BES, un nuovo spazio dedicato all'apprendimento e alla crescita personale.

📖 Uno spazio aperto oltre l’orario scolastico

Il progetto prevede una sorta di “centro civico” aperto in orario extrascolastico e anche durante il periodo estivo.

All'interno di questo spazio gli studenti potranno sviluppare idee, soddisfare curiosità, ricercare informazioni e attivare percorsi autonomi di apprendimento.

📚 Il sostegno di Baldini&Castoldi e Marsilio Editori

Sin dalle prime fasi di realizzazione del progetto, Baldini&Castoldi e Marsilio Editori hanno dimostrato grande disponibilità nei confronti dell'iniziativa.

Le due case editrici si sono rese disponibili a inviare alcuni dei loro volumi per ampliare la raccolta libraria che la scuola renderà disponibile agli alunni.

🎓 Un’inaugurazione prevista per ottobre

È inoltre prevista una cerimonia ufficiale di inaugurazione che si terrà nel mese di ottobre.

Alla cerimonia sarà presente, in qualità di autorevole ospite speciale, un grandissimo scrittore italiano, il cui nome verrà rivelato soltanto pochi giorni prima dell'evento.

Regaliamo dunque questi sogni ai bambini di oggi: il futuro di domani.
