Pope Francis Supports History Life Onlus

In un gesto di profonda generosità e attenzione verso le iniziative sociali e solidali, Papa Francesco ha deciso di sostenere l’associazione abruzzese History Life Onlus attraverso una donazione dal forte valore simbolico: un zucchetto bianco indossato da Sua Santità e una fotografia autografata.
Il prezioso plico è giunto presso la sede dell’organizzazione in data 1 ottobre, accompagnato da un attestato ufficiale redatto dal Segretario del Pontefice che ne certifica l’autenticità e la provenienza. Un gesto che testimonia ancora una volta la vicinanza del Papa ai valori della solidarietà e dell’impegno verso le fasce più fragili della società.
La donazione è destinata a sostenere e rinnovare una serie di progetti benefici promossi dall’associazione per il biennio 2020-2021. Tra le iniziative previste figurano l’istituzione di borse di studio dedicate agli studenti dell’Istituto Comprensivo Statale di Spoltore, il supporto alla comunità “Capanna di Betlemme di Chieti – Papa Giovanni XXIII” che accoglie persone senza fissa dimora, e la creazione di un fondo da devolvere ad Amref Health Africa per contribuire al progetto Women In School Health (WISH), dedicato alla promozione della salute femminile nei contesti scolastici africani.
Il contributo di Papa Francesco rappresenta non solo un aiuto concreto, ma anche un segnale di grande incoraggiamento per l’operato di History Life Onlus, che da anni si impegna nella promozione di attività educative, culturali e sociali a beneficio della collettività.
In a gesture of profound generosity and attention to social and charitable initiatives, Pope Francis has chosen to support the Abruzzo-based association History Life Onlus by donating a white skullcap worn by His Holiness and a signed photograph.
The precious package arrived at the association’s headquarters on October 1st, accompanied by an official certificate issued by the Pope’s Secretary, attesting to the authenticity and provenance of the items. This gesture further demonstrates the Pope’s ongoing commitment to solidarity and support for society’s most vulnerable.
The donation is intended to fund and renew a series of charitable projects promoted by the association for the 2020–2021 biennium. Among the initiatives are the establishment of scholarships for students of the Istituto Comprensivo Statale di Spoltore, support for the community “Capanna di Betlemme di Chieti – Pope John XXIII”, which aids the homeless, and the creation of a fund to be donated to Amref Health Africa in support of the Women In School Health (WISH) project, which promotes women’s health in African schools.
Pope Francis’s contribution represents not only concrete assistance but also a powerful message of encouragement for the work of History Life Onlus, which has long been committed to promoting educational, cultural, and social activities for the benefit of the wider community.
