🇮🇹 History Life Onlus rinnova il suo sostegno al progetto “WISH – Women in School for Health”
In occasione dell’inizio del periodo natalizio, siamo orgogliosi di comunicare che per il quarto anno consecutivo History Life Onlus sostiene il progetto “Women in School for Health” (WISH) di Amref Health Africa, al fine di consentire la formazione di giovani ragazze del Sud Sudan attraverso un percorso professionalizzante con cui rilanciare il capitale umano locale.
Il fondo è stato istituito per finanziare il Liceo “Women in School for Health”, con cui le ragazze vengono avviate alla professione medica, dando loro la possibilità di condurre il proprio Paese verso un futuro migliore.
Amref Health Africa (nota in passato come Fondazione Africana di Medicina e Ricerca) fu fondata nel 1957 da tre medici chirurghi noti come i Flying Doctors dell’Africa dell’Est ed è oggi la più grande organizzazione internazionale a conduzione africana del continente.
🇬🇧 History Life Onlus renews support for Amref’s “WISH – Women in School for Health” project
On the occasion of the beginning of the Christmas season, we are proud to announce that for the fourth consecutive year, History Life Onlus supports the “Women in School for Health” (WISH) project by Amref Health Africa, to provide professional training to young girls from South Sudan and enhance the value of local human capital.
The funds have been raised to finance the “Women in School for Health” High School, where these girls are guided toward careers in medicine, giving them the opportunity to lead their country toward a better future.
Amref Health Africa (formerly the African Medical and Research Foundation – AMREF) was founded in 1957 by three surgeons known as the Flying Doctors of East Africa and is now recognized as the largest African-led international organization on the continent.
