AmiCorti IFF 2025: awards and closing ceremony in Roccaraso

Roccaraso, 28 June 2025 – the seventh edition of the AmiCorti International Film Festival concluded with its final awards ceremony, featuring lifetime achievement honours and the Golden Strawberry Awards for films selected from the initial 96 entries.
The 2025 edition was dedicated to Ken Loach and continued the Festival’s commitment to independent and auteur cinema.
From the masterclass on Ukraine with Evgeny Afineevsky to the session with Paul E. Haggis, Roccaraso hosted several days dedicated to experiences, cinema and life beginning on 23 June. The closing evening was hosted by Daria Graziosi and Salvatore Sposito.

🤝 Institutions and Jury
The Festival received the patronage of Regione Abruzzo, Comune di Roccaraso, Provincia dell’Aquila, SIAE and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Roccaraso Mayor Francesco Di Donato attended the closing ceremony.
The jury, composed of directors, actors, philosophers, producers and international artists, selected the works across six main sections: National and International Short Films, International Feature Films, International Documentaries, International Animation, International Video Music and Social Themes linked to the 2030 Agenda.

Roccaraso, 28 giugno 2025 – la settima edizione dell’ AmiCorti International Film Festival si è conclusa con la cerimonia finale, tra premi alla carriera e Fragole d’Oro assegnate alle opere selezionate tra le 96 inizialmente in gara.
L’edizione 2025 è stata dedicata a Ken Loach e ha proseguito l’impegno del Festival come punto di riferimento per il cinema indipendente e d’autore.
Dalla masterclass sull’Ucraina con Evgeny Afineevsky a quella con Paul E. Haggis, a partire dal 23 giugno Roccaraso ha ospitato giornate dedicate a esperienze, cinema e vita. La serata conclusiva è stata condotta da Daria Graziosi e Salvatore Sposito.
